NADRA Arrangements to Issue CNICs to Special Persons

National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has made special arrangements to facilitate disabled/special persons by exclusively processing their computerized national identity cards (CNICs) in Fast Track Category without charging any fee. According to international standards and specifications, NADRA was issuing "special ID cards", with disability logo in line with the global concept of social corporate responsibility, said NADRA Chairman Ali Arshad Hakeem here on Tuesday.To make this a reality NADRA was providing special facilities for processing of CNIC application of "special person" at more than 350 NSRCs, which had separate entry points for special persons, guidance/facilitation arrangements and availability of wheel chairs/ramps, he said.
